Nutcracker Performances
Congratulations to some of The Dance Slipper's dancers who performed with the Albany Berkshire Ballet's 2010 performance of The Nutcracker.
Delanie Rybacki danced Clara on Saturday, December 11th in Pittsfield, MA. Lexie Klinkowski danced as one of the party girls on Saturday, December 18th in Springfield, MA. Avery and Reece Couture danced in the 4:30 pm show in Springfield. |

Shannon Green (age 8) of Southwick, MA won first place for her solo for her age category plus placed in the top 5 for the Age 9 and Under category. Her solo was jazz and she was dancing to "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" choreographed by Brenda Barna. |
Alexandra Klinkowski (age 11) of Southwick, MA won fourth place for her solo for her age category. This her second year in a row placing...she won 5th place last year for her age category (age 10). Her solo is also jazz and she was dancing to "Mr Heatmiser" choreographed by Lori Disco. |

Nicole Picard of Suffield, CT won first place for her age category (age 18 & above) and also made top 5 for all solos age 13 and over. Her solo was "Open Arms" and she choreographed it herself. |
Ashley Bannish of Southwick won fourth place for her age category (age 18 & above) for her solo "Bang Bang" which she choreographed herself. |

2nd Place Overall for Age 12 and Under Production -- "The Malt Shoppe" choreographed by Brenda Barna & Lori Disco included 25 local boys and girls (ranging in age from 8 to 18) from Southwick (MA), Agawam (MA), Westfield (MA), Suffield (CT), Granby (CT), and Simsbury (CT). |
1st Place Overall for Age 13 and Over Duos/Trios -- "Under Ice" a Contemporary trio choreographed by Brenda Barna and Lori Disco included Ashley Bannish and Stephanie Olson both from Southwick, MA and Nicole Picard from Suffield, CT. |

4th Place Overall for Age 12 and Under Class -- "The Night Chicago Died" an acrobat number choreographed by Brenda Barna. |
2nd Place Overall for Age 13 and Over Duos/Trios -- "Unspoken" a Modern trio choreographed by Lori Disco included Cortney Puza from Southwick, MA; Kelsey Hansen from Granby, CT; and Nicole Picard from Suffield, CT. |
